Be Ye Complete

In the New Testament, Jesus tells his disciples to be perfect, even as their father in heaven is perfect:

"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."

Matthew 5:48

The common understanding of this verse is that you are supposed to do things flawlessly, which is an impossible task.  What if I were to tell you that this meaning is false?

In Hebrew, perfect does not mean that at all.  The root word for this verse is Tamiym, and Tamiym means to be complete, or whole.

So Christ was telling us to be complete or whole.

Complete Yourself

When a person finds themselves in a place that doesn't work, a metaphorical hell, they need to get out of it.

How?

Well, what is the opposite of hell?  Heaven.  And how would you get there? By doing the opposite of what you are doing.

Doing Things Backwards

So here, we explore the benefits of doing things backwards.  Backward writing, backward walking, backward thinking, backward talking.  Bob Marley stated that in order to emancipate ourselves from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind.  We are all about emancipation here.

Discipline of Play

Our goal is to get us healed up and back into our childlike state again.  When we are children, life becomes simple and effortless.  We are free from the matrix and we can progress.  So the goal here is to enact the discipline of play in our lives, so that we may heal up and get back to what we were, what we already are, little children. We want to get to the place where life is full of wonder and magic.
